Nine artists made nine small works. Each one is mounted on a handcrafted wooden base and left somewhere in Düsseldorf. Whoever finds one, keeps it — and can leave a message as its new owner. On September 15, everything here is frozen in time.
The artworks stay covered until the freeze. What you see is the foil — not the piece.
Each piece is a small original work — painted, drawn, printed, or crafted — the size of a postcard, set on a solid wooden base made by hand.
The pieces are left in public places across Düsseldorf, waiting. No maps, no clues — only luck and attention.
Scan the code on the piece and, if you like, leave a message as its new owner. After September 15, all messages are sealed here forever.
We're looking for nine Düsseldorf artists — any medium that fits a postcard. Submissions until August 15. You keep all rights, with full credit here and in the film.
